Food

Wildwood Guesthouse

Breakfast is a daily spread of seasonal fresh fruit with yoghurt and home made muesli with linseed, coconut, almonds nuts, perhaps you might like to try some poached quinces, bacon and free-range eggs with tomatoes and basil or smoked salmon with creamy scrambled eggs. In the right season there maybe a bowl of fresh cherries or peaches from Wildwood¹s own trees, on the table.

Throughout the day you are invited to help yourself to the fresh ground coffee and aromatic teas as well as the home made biscuits and cakes that are waiting to be devoured on the large country kitchen table.

In the evening if you don¹t feel like venturing out to one of the great local restaurants ask Rob about Wildwood's chef, who will create a menu just for you. Three delicious courses followed by coffee and chocolates, you can match the wood with some Mudgee wine. For larger groups we can arrange one of Mudgee's wineries to conduct a private tasting and why not invite a wine maker to join you for dinner! Imagine the best wines and cuisine literally on your doorstep. Whatever your appetite Wildwood has the essential culinary ingredients for your Mudgee stay.

Thankyou, thankyou both for a very relaxing time. Beautiful house only surpassed by Rob’s food and equally attentive washing up!
