THIS IS A COMPLAINT LETTER.

Dear owners,

For the fourth consecutive year we have stayed, been forced to eat wonderful food, had both our arms twisted to imbibe in the local wines, be forced to listen to delightful music, drink fresh coffee and read newspapers in the morning sunlight on the balcony. If that was not bad enough - in the late afternoon we were encouraged to walk down the valley and take in the sun setting over the vines!! Followed by another peaceful night's sleep in your delightful country retreat. When do you people stop making your guests feel - special?

Sadly, the loud chatter of wildlife surrounding the adobe style building shatters this natural tranquility. I suggest this over the top 'natural noise' must stop. Further, (and before our next stay of course) we suggest that you train Basil to ward off the seemingly endless wildlife, install a louder stereo system, telephones, fax machines and photocopiers to ensure that one stops thinking that there maybe more to life than living in the city.

My real hope is that people will read the top line of this letter and will not want to come and stay in Mudgee's best kept secret that is almost hidden in the most beautiful valley of Mrs Lawson's original property.

Maybe we should erect a closed sign out on Henry Lawson Drive, just to ensure that no one else finds the place, that we know is fantastic.

We intend to see you all again soon - thanks for another wonderful stay.

Regards...

Margaret and Greg Madden

Dear Robert,

A note to thank you once more for our wonderful time at Wildwood last weekend. We all enjoyed our stay very much and we all appreciated the kindness, courtesy and the service given to us right throughout our stay.

It really was an excellent break for us and in such a peaceful and beautiful area. We shall have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends - and already have.

Yours sincerely...

Ted Swinbourne
